What I collect
Only what you give me through this site: your name, work email address, business name or website and indicative ad spend. If you book a call, also what you need help with, whether you'd like Google Meet or a phone call, your phone number (required for a phone call, optional otherwise), the time you chose and your timezone.
The site also collects standard anonymous analytics: pages viewed, approximate location by country, device type and referring source. This is aggregate data and is not used to identify individuals.
Why I collect it
- To reply to your enquiry and, where requested, to prepare and send your free ad audit
- To schedule and hold a call you've booked, and to send you its confirmation, a reminder the day before, and any change or cancellation
- To understand whether an engagement is a sensible fit before either of us spends time on it
- To understand, in aggregate, which pages of this site are useful
Booking a call
When you book, the site checks my Google calendars for busy times only (never the details of other appointments), creates an event in my Google Calendar and adds you as a guest, so Google also sends you a calendar invite. If you choose video, a Google Meet link is created for the call.
Your confirmation email contains a private link that lets you move or cancel the call up to 12 hours before. Anyone with that link can do the same, so please don't share it.
What I don't do
I don't sell your details, share them with third parties for marketing, or add you to a mailing list you didn't ask to join. There is no automated nurture sequence behind these forms. If you request an audit, you get an audit and a reply from me — that's it.
Account access during an audit
Where you grant read-only access to advertising or analytics accounts for the purposes of an audit, that access is used solely to prepare your findings, is never shared, and is relinquished on request or on completion. Nothing is exported or retained beyond the notes needed to write the diagnostic.
Storage and retention
Audit requests and bookings are stored in this website's own database, hosted by Cloudflare in the Oceania region. Emails and calendar events live in my Google Workspace account. Enquiries and bookings that don't lead to an engagement are deleted automatically after twelve months. Client records are retained as long as required for tax and business record-keeping obligations under Australian law.
Your rights
You can ask what I hold about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted. Send the request through the contact form and I'll action it within a reasonable period. This policy is intended to operate consistently with the Australian Privacy Principles and, for New Zealand clients, the Privacy Act 2020.
